Hey Everyone - Kristina here

I know a couple of people around here, including meister and arboc and some others...I'm the girl that used to tag along with Matthew (MATT99DECH) in his '99 GT Vert (Saleen Kit). We both attended the GTAM BBQ last weekend in the 1970 Boss 302 (grabber orange)....what a hot day for no airconditioning!!

Anyways, I have a 2006 GT on order and have been hanging out in the 05 Mustang forums for the most part so I thought I'd come over here and say hello!!

Look forward to meeting some of you when my car FINALLY arrives

Yeah at one point dan mentioned how all the hot girls were there with guys, and how he was SO upset that he couldn't work the mojo

Then again...i did agree with him...

Well I don't know you but I was drooling over your car for quite awhile. WOW, it's beautiful, a/c or not.

You probably would have hung out with us if there was a white '05 GT there for you to see, other than the striped one

Ya, the car is certainly awesome, and pretty unique these days. But in the middle of that heat wave, it was INSANELY hot - no a/c and no wind with the windows open, plus all the heat through the firewall and floor. It's defiantely a trailer queen type car!

Thanks - I know I'll love the new one, if it ever arrives. I did see that white with blue stripes

Hi kristina and welcome! Glad to hear you got a 06 on order ,is it a coupe or a vert ? and have you had a test drive in a 05 yet?

 

Hi Craig! Thanks - I ordered a coupe actually. It's funny, had I purchased a '99-'04, I would have gotten a vert 100%. I love convertibles, and the lines on that vert body style look great. But for the '05s+, I find the roofline is such a big part of the styling that the 'verts look kinda funny. Maybe it's just me... It's like the TT and 350Z 'verts - they just don't look right compared to the coupes.

Anyways, I did get to drive one back in the fall (October 04) when my dealer got their first GT in - actually got a pic taken in it (without my knowledge!) - looking back at this keeps me sane One day soon....

Kristina, your car is absolutely gorgeous!

 

I felt the same way about the new mustang ...if it was a 99 to 04 it would be a vert but with the classic fast back look the coupe it looks so much better than the convertible .

And my testdrive was the second day after all the dealers got there cars ,there was black GT standard with full IUP /leather in dark charcoal and I took the new car sales manager with me .The mustang had less than 50k on it and the new car manager had not driven in one yet either ,but once it hit the highway and went through the gears we both had big smiles on are faces and I was sold right there !

And with 4 months of waiting this factory ordered beauty showed up ....don't worry about the wait were all here to keep you sane untill your new car shows up

 

I think me and Dan were among the first average schmoes to drive the '05 in Canada.

That was a thrill ride, I knew from that moment I had to have one

 

Definately one of the FIRST not working or associated with Ford It was a blast but made the wait so much harder.
