Well it is that time of year when some of our cars will be going into storage in a month or so (ugh!). Any plans on meeting up somewhere? Would be great to go for a small cruise (considering it will take a few of us a couple of hours just to get to the meet first), place to take some pics and then sit down and for a bite to eat. Let me know what you guys think.

Cool, well if we can get some of the people from the GTA to chime in, that means I finally have someone to cruise over there with.

 

I'd be in if I lived closer. Quite the short cruise from Edmonton to Ontario.

When...well sometime in September. Just see what weekend most of us are available...where...well somewhere in between where we all drive close to the same distance. Doesn't really matter to me. I know a while back someone mentioned Grand Bend but I think for a few of you that is a very long drive...then again, me driving to Kitchener is not a short trip either...lol

I am open to suggestions...but I really don't want to spend a day at a track.

 

I can make time on a weekend for a cruise&eat, so it pretty much doesn't matter to me when we do this. I'll just need a bit of a heads up. As for where....well, there's lots of places to drive in Ontario, in between Sarnia and Toronto....we'll just have to pick one.

 

Post when you were thinkin John and we'll see what everyone can do.

Well how about either the 15th, 16th, 22, or 23rd As to where, well that is up in the air. Looking at Grand Bend, well, that is about the same distance for someone in Sarnia or St. Thomas, but a 2.5 hour drive from Kitchener and 3 hours from Toronto. It is a nice place, park the cars along the road and some shops will still be open (most close at the end of September). I am open for anything.

 

Im in for the 22 - 23rd. Im working both weekends Boo. but have more of a chance to get that weekend off. It was i that suggested Grand Bend. Pretty amazing place when the weather is nice. Lots of bikinis. ( although. We are planning this for after students go back to school ).

 

I should be good for those weekends - sounds like I might have to drive some distance... this will get me closer 10,000km's

well last weekend was a perfect time to be at Grand Bend. Tons of people there, lots of cars, beach was packed.

 

Just when your season is ending ours is starting! 31 days of 110 degrees gets old! Soon the 70's & 80's I hope. We don't really have seasons here in the valley just summer and not so summer

 

well I guess if there is going to be a last meet it will be one of those last minute things. Haven't really heard of any suggestions and I am working this weekend.

 

Well, Grand Bend on the 22nd or so is just fine for me. My brother might even have a mustang he can bring along by then.

 

Well how about we plan for that. This Saturday, Sept 22nd. Grand Bend. It will be a little dead compared to the "summer season" but still nice. There is a restaurant at the end of the strip called Gator's. They have good food there and I am sure they will still be open. So those that want to go please chime in before Thursday.
