Finally dyno'd the car tonight!

Been meaning to do this for a long time, finally got out to Steeda to put my car on the dyno. I went by on their Dyno Day but had to leave for another appointment before my time came up.

Paul estimated it'd be around 280-285 but she came through for me and pulled a 289.1RWHP @6000 rpms and 285.2tq @4750! Yay "Anna"! I had a feeling Ford built me a good one

I was running the 91 octane tune from Paul and the Steeda CAI.

Just thought I'd share

thanks guys. they aren't earth shattering, but i'm slowly working her up. the tq's a bit low but it's hard to compare everyone, as there are so many factors that come into play.

anyways, dyno'ing your car is fun.

I don't think the torque is low for a Mustang Dyno.

They read lower than a Dynojet and CAI increases HP more than torque.

Kristina,

Those are solid numbers keeping in mind its a Mustang Dyno. Had you taken it to a place with a dynojet (DaSilva) the numbers would have been higher. I was too swamped to make the dyno day as well, next year hopefully.

That's good to know, I knew there were differences between the different kinds of dyno's, I just didn't know what those were.

Ya, Paul was pleasantly surprised at the numbers I pulled. Like I said, I knew she was built right, from the day I got her, and the tune/cai have treated me right so far.

Also, I have to admit I LOVE the way my exhaust sounds from the outside of the car...it was awesome sounding on the dyno.

Steve, if you want to dyno it this year, you can book it anytime...I called Paul up yesterday last minute and he was cool enough to stick around. Dyno Days are fun, but there's a lot of waiting around because it takes some time to strap each car down etc, even if it is only two or three pulls.
