Put my car in storage yesterday (was planning on today until I saw the forecast). Lucky I didn't wait! Here's some final pictures, all Zaino'd up and ready!
Looking mean
She doesn't even look sad, I sure am Can't wait until spring
Wow Zaino sure does rock and it even works at 45F
Nice shiny GT emblem(s)
This doesn't even appear to be a real picture, I was surprised myself with the results
Sitting at Whiteoak waiting for a "winter" oil change.

Every 2 months like clockwork Ben they get fired up I drove the merc for a short bit after I put the stang away needed to get out didn't drive it last year here's a pic of her before she went away.
The picture didn't turn out so good but it gives you an idea of what no winters can do for a car and that truck has about 75% of the factory origional paint on her .

I'll take some pictures of my winter beater once I clean up the rust off the rocker panels
My car will be parked very shortly as well... it looks as if they are calling for snow next week.

I put sta-bil in the gas and from what I've read a start-up isn't required. Plus it's in a heated warehouse.

Yep snow touched my car last Thursday... And that was enough for me!
Here's a picture of my winter beater, and even better from December last year... Just a reminder to get your stang in storage ASAP

well I'm driving mine this winter, just because I'm a poor student and can't afford another vehicle. I'm really mad right now because I can't find my block heater cord!! It may make me look stupid, but I've looked everywhere under that hood and can't find it! oh well, it gives me an excuse to park in the garage and my mom doesn't get to dang winter

Funny you say that I didn't even know my Taurus had a block heater, until one day I removed the battery to charge it (left my lights on). And it was stuck under the battery tray!.. I said.. WOW.. this car has a block heater I've never used it though...

Adam; there is a thread on TMS with instructions on where the Heater cord is Hidden.
You should probably find it Soon.
Hint; passenger side Front, bottom Grill hole,
attached bottom of Rad, Large cylindrical Rubber Cover on Plug.

Every Ford vehicle sold in Canada has a block heater as standard equipment since I think the 1998 model year.
Some have jumper cords that have to be hooked up, but all have the element in the block.
Generally the plug is around the front driver's side area under the hood.

Nice truck have you owned it since new?
I've had it for about 5 years now bought it with the intention of just taking the yard waste to the dump and found out shortly after that the truck was super rare .
It was so dirty from pine sap when I bought it that the whole top of the truck you couldn't see the paint it was just black and thats probably what saved the paint all these years .It even came with a camper that was bought the same year with the truck its in about the same shape but still needs a little T.L.C. to get it up to par .

Sure was a nice day today. If I didn't take my tires off, battery out and air filter housing out I would have gone for a drive. We got about 1cm of snow yesterday but it was all gone by dinner time. It is going to be a long, long winter. I can just feel it.

Well, she is finally sleeping.
Lined floor with plastic
treated gas(filled to the rim)
inflated tires 10lbs over
covered her up
heated the garage.
And this is my winter beater.
*sing*
See you, at the end of april....
See you, when the top comes down....
