Spoke to three Windsor ONT. salespersons from different dealerships who attended a product seminar yesterday(Wednesday) They were told Job 1 would be in July and that stangs should start trickling on to dealers lots by august,also that the first arrivals would be allocated by Ford in the same manner asthey did when introducing the new F150's. Has anyone else heard similar information?

 

this sounds positive - if true - but the long standing job 1 date has been 07 September - maybe things have changed?

 

Maybe product rollout begins in July where they start building a smaller quantity of models and Job 1 is the day when production ramps up to full-speed.

 

Also a neighbour who works at the Essex Engine Plant said he already knew that because they are just about ready to start producing 3 valve 4.6's ,stick versions first then automatics.

 

sounds exciting! cant wait to see them on the lot at Rose City Ford!

Get them out here first in small numbers (which honestly we are anyway)
California sells more than Canada...

So we can get them before the snow...
And then start producing insane amounts of numbers for the states while we are in 'winter mode'

 

As much as I want to believe this, it doesn't make sense??

personnaly i don't mind getting the car in the spring of '05, that will give me the chance to sell my '88 and get the new one ready to drive for the spring....
