I was just wondering how many TMS NYC area members are there on here? Also are there any local Mustang clubs?

 

OK, now I'm thinking we need to get a TMS NYC or Tri-state charter club going to represent TMS in this region! Any and all Mustangs welcomed. Any feelings on this subject?

 

I agree. There are plenty of members here from the area. There should be no reasons why we can't get together at least once a month.

central location, something convenient and fair to all (as best as possible)

date, i.e. the 2nd saturday of each month

time, perhaps mid morning so we have the day to cruise or take a road trip?

OK, so we have 4 (lmao) TMS members now. Not exactly a convoy is it? As for it being in Jersey that's fine seeing as how I'm usually in NJ on the weekends anyhow but then how about another time we change location?

 

rotating places works. It's fun going to different venues. I wouldn't mind going to Bklyn or Rockland/Westchester counties.

There's a couple of mustang clubs listed etc.
I'm generally not a joiner...

I usually see one or two late model mustangs displayed, with a couple in the lot as well...

So now that the question has been answered, Thanks Jim for finding that cool link , do you guys still want to start up our own TMS get togethers? I'd like to get something started where us TMSers get together routinely once a month even if there isn't an outside event going on (i.e Englishtown having an event). Ya know, just to chill with other TMSers, talk Mustangs or whatnot over some food/drink, cruise somewhere or just do whatever.

Sounds like a good idea. I haven't been to Hooters in a long time and I love seeing other Mustangs so count me in. I think a TMS charter could work.

Events are all over North Jersey, some NY State, no NYC.

 

Ah, the local MCA chapter, cool Thanks Ron for the info I'm interested in joining that too. Like Ron said, joining our local MCA chapter is good support and I like how GSRMC goes to the MDA camp for kids.

I'd like to see our own TMS charter get up and going, no matter how small we are when we start or how informal of a "club" we may be. Torrence, I'm down for next Saturday at Hooters. Which one and what time?
