It has been confirmed for a DYNO-DAY for TMS at Atco Raceway!!

Scheduled for: Sat. November 12th!

Place: Atco Raceway Atco, NJ

DYNO-DAY for all TMS Members and Mustang Friends.

All TMS members are welcome and Mustang Friends. Price for Dyno Day is $50 for 3 Pulls on the Dyno + $10-$13 admission into the racepark depending if you come race or just dyno.

Between the Hours of 9AM-5PM! Gates Open @ 8:30 AM!

We have a live burn training that Monday, put in an excusal, and come join me and my fire dept for our live burn, we are torching the whole building, seriously! Come on!

I'm hoping the make it there at least for the morning. I'll know in a couple of days, step-mother-in-law coming that day :-(. Hopefully she'll come in afternoon.

 

Yes I have, I have spread to many of my other Mustand Friends and a few other forum boards, as well as a website im on called MySpace, I have spread the word, I think we're gonna have a lot of people coming to this event. I think I'm confirmed for 12 already, 4 being from TMS, others are friends and other forums.

 

I'd go just to check it out but to close to tell them i cant make it, atleast for me. I just drove by there today for work purposes and thought ..hmm i wondering if anything will be going raceing here from forums anytime soon they do it a lot at atco. I'll be going by there tomorrow too. :-/

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DYNO DAY:

Come through the main gate and pay the admission to get to the racetrack, $10 to get in, spectate, hang out or just go on the dyno - $13 to race.

Racers, pull up to the next little white building and p/u your Rental Helmet, if you need it, $2 to rent.

For those coming to JUST DYNO or to JUST HANG OUT with the group, pull up to the same little white building and tell the attendant you are there for the DYNODAY, he should allow you to enter with no problem. I will advise the attendant of the event going on and to allow you to pass through (Normally they don't allow you to pass unless you are racing). Should be no problem.

DYNO will be done on First Come First Serve Basis. $50 for 3 pulls for everyone! We will go through all the members on the forum, as well as friends FIRST, before we take anyone else in the pits! So that way everyone who came out to this event and wanted to jump on the DYNO, WILL GET ON!

I talked to the owner of Atco Raceway, he is aware of our event and insisted on giving us OUR OWN LANE in the pits, (not to be confused with the strip), so all of us TMS members will be able to go along together down the strip.

Saturday is going to be a decent busy day. They have Test & Tuning going on that day, but is still open to all cars! They also have a small 8-bracket race going on for an hour for the NHRA. So we'll be able to see some good races while we enjoy the beautiful day!

 

Hopefully the weather will be nice. Still undecided if I'm going to try the 1/4 or not. It would be my first.
