I'm in Kent, WA with a supercharged '07 GT Coupe. It's my sixth Mustang. You won't see it at many car shows, but you're likely to see it drag racing at Pacific Raceways, Bremerton Raceway, or as my daily driver Monday through Friday.

Figured I should update my earlier post. The '07 GT is gone now - replaced with a Sterling Gray '11 GT with Brembo Package, 3.73's, and 6 speed manual trans.

My '07 GT is for sale now at the dealership where I traded it in....

Thanks, Steve. I have a very short list of mods planned for the '11 GT - no supercharger this time around:
  • Steeda CAI & SCT Tuner combo - good for high 11's in the 1/4 mile and just over 400 rwhp.
  • Steeda "stop the hop" rear control arm kit - manual trans GT's hop badly from the factory.
  • Driveshaft safety loop and drag radials for drag racing duty.
  • Better shifter & bracket to eliminate shift deflection (and missed shifts) at wide open throttle - apparently this is a problem with the new MT82 6 speed manual trans in the 2011/12 GT's.
That's it. That should put the '11 GT right on par with my supercharged '07 GT at the dragstrip. The '11 handles much better and stops as well as my '07 since the '11 has the Brembo Package.

I miss my '07 GT. It's for sale on our used car lot where I work so I drove it a couple days ago. Sure wish I could have kept it! I hope it goes to a really good home.

I haven't autocrossed in years. My '07 was a drag car, so it would have sucked around the cones. My '11 would be a blast around the cones; I might just have to give that a try.

A few weeks ago, I sold my drag wheels/tires from my '07 GT on Craigslist. The kid that bought the set didn't want the drag radials - just the wheels and front tires - so I bought back the pair of drag radials from him last night. Guess I have to buy a pair of 17 x 9 rims to mount them on for drag days should I ever get out to the track. I found a 17" wheel that looks kinda like my Brembo 19 x 9 rims...

Hi, James! Yup, another stealthy Mustang for me. Lovin' the '11 5.0L so far - except for the dang wheel hop. Gotta get some LCA's on it quick!

Did you get the ambient lighting installed yet in the Shelby GT? Haven't seen you since you bought all the parts to do it.
