Well I had the carrot dangling in front of me today. I had been negotiating with a ford dealer in the north sound for two days over a beautiful s281 Vista Blue saleen. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/drool.gif[/img]
I still cant believe I walked away from the deal, but I couldnt swallow the 550$/month payments...They actually agreed to my demands but in the end sanity took hold... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon24.gif[/img]

They came down 9K from 50K and offered me 26K for my 05 stang...with 12K miles on it... AHHH the pain.. (My wife had a bit to do with the sanity check) man that was tough... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img]

SO instead I ordered the ford racing lowering kit and 4.10 gears... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img] to sooth my pain...

 

Andrew, you did the right thing, even though, it was probably painful to walk away from such a beautiful car. Vista Blue is my car's color and its awesome in person. But $550 per month is a very steep payment. I couldn't even imagine that payment for 60 months.

 

Good move. I think there will be many more enticing options in the future. I'm waiting for the S197 version of the Mach 1.
