If you have the time for a morning Fall drive, the Mid-Atlantic Region of Saleen Club of America (SCOA) is having our annual
Fall cruise event, The Turkey Trot, on Saturday, November 4th.
The starting point will be the Nautilus Diner, location at the intersection of MD route 3 and Route 424, in Crofton, MD. Meet up before 8:30 am to begin the “Bench Race Breakfast,” then start the cruising around 9:30 am.
That's right, we're doing the food first and then the fun. The route weaves along the Patuxant River and finishes at the Rod N Reel Restuarant in
Chesapeake Beach. It's 70 miles long with about a 2 hour drive time.
Contact me if you are interested or have any questions.
Yep, somehow SCOA as trapped me into being the Club's Maryland State director, so I'll really be at this event.

Yep, the food's been pretty good so far when we've gone.
Haven't tried a breakfast there yet, but there's a lot listed on the menu.
Now the dessert they have are amazing, and big servings too.
Hope you can make it. Forgot to mention, the only cost is the for the food you buy. Also working on having a few give-a-way items and maybe
a contest (with prize) to whoever finds a mystery location along the route.

Please feel free to post any annuoncement of upcoming events on our board. And 95SVTCobraVA is right, the artwork is fantastic!
Got a few more inquiries, so interest is continuing to build.
Weather looks good, but chilly, for Saturday.
(That will help to keep my intercooler running cool, but I'm thinkin' no speedster cover.)
There's still plenty of time to join in.

After the cold start, it turned out to be a great Day.
However, attendance was a bit light as some unexpected things
kept a few at home.
We weren't the only group cruising on our route either, check out the second
photo page.
(Photos were taken by my 9 yr old son Ross, who also had a great time.)
Tony--a couple of people were talking about the NVMC event.
We can't make it as Ross has basketball tryout/placements scheduled for tomorrow.
