Hey all. My son attends Lincoln Tech in Howard County Maryland, and commutes between home (near Westminster). On his way to school on Rt 32 east, he observed a traffic stop with one black 05/06 Mustang GT. It had lighs in the grill and on the dash, and the fogs flashed. Two miles further on, he observed two marked Howard County police cars under an overpass with another black 05 Mustang GT (presumably, a 2nd unmarked Mustang).

After reporting this to classmates at the school, he heard another report of these or similar Mustang GTs on Rt. 29 near Columbia.

Has anyone else seen or heard of unmarked late model GTs used in Maryland? Holy Crap!!

Nope I have not heard of any being used here in Richmond yet. But it would not surprize me if they did.

 

I'll have to keep my eye out for them. These maryland cops are sneaky bastards*.

Also keep an eye out for 99-04 Mustang GTs around Maryland Toll Areas. The Toll Facilities Police have a couple of unmarked Mustangs. I know one is White and another is Torch Red.

 

I've yet to see HoCo's black GT but I just heard they also have a black Charger on the streets now too.

 

A lady I work with just called to let me know that she saw an unmarked, black S197 on Rt. 29 N (Columbia Pike) just up from Silver Spring.

I had a marked Maryland State Police Crown Vic trying to bait me on I-97 near BWI Airport once. I was doing 65 (posted speed limit) in the left lane. He came up on me and was riding my tail. I moved into the center lane to let him pass and fell in right behind him (maintaining 65). He moved to the center lane and slowed to about 50. I passed him and he once again fell in behind me, only inches from my back bumper. I was hoping he would pull me over so I could see him in court. Once again, I let him pass. He went on, seeing how I would not play his reindeer games, and pulled over a mini-van up by the Baltimore Beltway.

 

I saw a white pickup truck, made to look like a VDOT truck, but no VDOT markings, it had orange cones and stuff on it. This truck also had police lights in the grill and back window and had pulled some one over on the south moving lanes on RT 95 just north of the Rt 295 exit between Petersburg and Richmond VA. You could not tell that the lights were there without really looking hard, unless they were flashing, of course. :notnice:
