sounds like a good idea to me. maybe u could put an address of one of the stores in the strip mall so we can mapquest it (or for the more FORTUNATE, put it in the GPS). i think i may hit it up thursday.

thanks, yea here in SI they got a local meet at the supermarket near me. its mostly old muscle but i figure since there are so many from the tri-state, we could head over there and bring alittle bit of modern muscle into the mix.

when they start showing up (thursday nights as well), ill be on here and let everyone know. usually starts around 6 or 7 and goes on until everyone leaves. lately the bikes (99% harleys) have been taking over so the cars gotta take it back!

 

I assume you are talking about edgewater commons mall down by starbucks?? It is 5 minutes from me right down the hill.

There are always ricers down there on sat night, etc. Usually though it is a very young crowd and mostly high schoolers. I went there sat night around 10:30 for an expresso and was in a sea of 13 year olds ordering frozen drinks. Not that I am over the hill quite yet at 24.


And there is also the honda s2000 ricers that seem to gather up in fort lee by the kings starbucks/linwood pizza.


Might be fun to meet up one night. I have to see what the week brings.

We could also do Whiskies cafe off 17 south on a sat night sometime. There is a group of S197's that meet up over there I am told. I usually bring 60's iron when I go though. It has been a while since I have been there.

I went down there on thurs and I say that around 8 a lot of the evos started to show I wish I had mine but it was in the shop....I saw 4 mustangs... a cobra, s197 and 2 86' 5.0s... All the ricers were reving there engines so that ppl could hear there blow-off valves... ehh!.... It would be nice to see more stang out there then all of those ricers... HELP AND SUPPORT EVERYONE!

i always see those ricers there...their cars suck....i got about people ready to come. my 05 gt, my friends 03 gt, his brother has a v6 might come, other friend with an 01 gt will show, my friend with a 1990 gt is definitely in.

my brother has an 03 mach and has work. my other friend has a 96 cobra and also has work and cant make it...but i know that i got a couple of guys who are up for hanging out over there. good idea tho man im glad u contacted me

Yea, edgewater was fun last night, a few of us met up down there, but really ricey as always. A lot of kids and **** walking around the car and stuff. If I had anything other than the stang down there I would have been a bit too nervous.

But it was nice bsing with some fellow stang owners.

Believe it or not, traditionally the best cruise nights for the car owners are the ones with little to no spectators.

There were a ton of police all over down there too.

Big Daddy Duane and Mikey did some work on my car and are great. But I think as far as Tuning for our years JDM is further along technologically wise and would chose them as the tuners.

 

I'm in Freehold and a stones throw from JDM, well maybe a half mile but **** close. I can actually hear when something is on the dyno.

Cool to see Dwayne has a new shop, I thought I saw he was over at Joe Heck with Joe Amato. Used to buy parts from Joe back when I had a 5.0 from Downs and had Dwayne work his magic on my T-5.

Anyways anyone going to E-Town anytime soon, maybe for one of the mustang showdowns?

There is another Silver Satin GT with some black stripes and 5 star rims a few blocks over from me I discovered the other day, not sure if they are on the forums or not.
