Amherst Ford - Another One Bites The Dust

As a general FYI for those in the Lynchburg area, Amherst Motors will be shutting down tomorrow.

Did Ford buy them out ?

I bought my 2nd car from them (1978 Mustang II - 2.8 V6 4 speed)

Just closing their doors. Bought my 92 F150 and my 05 Stang from them. In November of 04, they were the only dealership in this area that quoted me a price below MSRP. Everybody else wanted from $1 - 5K over MSRP. They had a great maintenance shop where you could actually trust them to do the "right thing by you". All the employees were told last week that this week was it,
