January 14th to the 16th

The Virginia International Auto Show - Richmond, Va.

CVMC has been invited back to the Virginia International Auto Show again this year. It looks like we will have another great line up of Mustangs for display. The show has been moved to January 14th, 15th & 16th this year. Motor Trend will have the “Ford Concept Coral” at the show this year. The cars slated for the show are the Ford 427, Forty-Nine, EX and U. They are also suppose to have the 2005 Mustang Convertible. Check out the website...

I may come by. I only worry about how small the parking spots are.

Do I sound like a "New" car owner?

Yeah, they changed the forecast here too. Only party cloudy but cool. Mark, you can always park next to me, I promise I won't ding your car.

Too late.

Washed my car this morning and found an "L" shaped paint scrape on my drivers rear qtr panel above the area where the scallops would be up and right of the door handle. :notnice:

Looks like a plastic mirror opened into my car because of the shape and the lack of any tell tale paint.

This stinks because the only parking lot that I park near any other cars is at work.

The bad paint looks pin pricked. I should be able to use some touch up paint on a tooth pick and make it all but invisible after waxing. We shall see. :bang:

I had Integrity Auto Specialist do a bit of work on my car fixing a few scratches last week. They took care of small gouge on my running board piece that I have had since I got my car, it was below the pearl part of the paint. Looks brand new. I'm sure there is a pro up there that does the same thing. I went to the local BMW dealer to see who did their work. Integrity was on the lot working on a few of the dealers cars and added mine to it and had all the work done in two hours. They even gave me a small bottle of touch up and a special paintbrush for rock chips. Their paint is better then factory touch up bottles. Good luck with your touch up.

After properly cleaning the area, most of the scuff was removed leaving only two very small pin ****** that made it through the clearcoat. I buffed it pretty much out. You cannot see it to the natural eye, but I KNOW ITS THERE!

Initally, it looked like a series of pin ****** 3 inches long in an L shape. Most of it was plastic scuff into the clear coat only. I am pretty relieved.

In reguards to Richmond.

If it is cold, then I should be able to get a few more horsepower out of my motor! If only I could find a straight road without traffic!

I'm leaving "early" on Saturday to drive up so it should be nice and open on 64. Should be cool so I'll get the most out of my car too, she likes cool clean air. Mapquest says it's exactly 100 miles or in my case, two of my homemade CD's.

The football this weekend is causing me the most angst. My Steelers, yes I own the team, are on at 4:30pm on Saturday. This would necessitate a departure time of 1:30pm from Richmond, maybe 2pm. I just do not rely on 95 for accident free roadways. :bang:

If I came down Saturday it would be early too. I wonder where I could eat breakfast early near the convention center 95SVTCobraVA

Nope didn't dodge it I just wasn't paying attention

There is food in the Covention Center but it is like most other Arenas. Over priced and not always that good.

I'll let ya know where to go when you get there after you tell me what your looking for
