This Weather Sucks!
Somebody please make it stop snowing. Oh, and that big hot thing in the center of the solar system... you know, the thing that's responsible for all life on Earth... could somebody please face that my direction?

Al Gore can suck my snow shovel. Did anyone see that the owner of The Weather Channel was considering suing Al Gore? Something about suing him for perpetuating fraud, or something like that. That kind of made me chuckle.

Truth is, from what I've read and studied (and I actually have), global temperature on average is rising. But the 'evidence' of it being man made is circumstantial at best. If you look back at Earth's temperature over millions of years, the recent warming trend is just a blip, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned about it.
The former owner of the Weather Channel is thinking of sueing to have algore's documentary reclassified as fiction and having it removed from schools as fact just as they did in England.
As for temperatures, not one decimal point of gain in the last 9 years. And of course not one shred of proof man-made is cause of increase in their set of numbers. Cows, oceans, and volcanoes put out more greenhouse gases and particulates than all of our cars since the beginning of cars.

05GT how far north are you?
On average how many months is the stang stored each year?
I feel bad for ya'll I can't go 1 week without driving mine, I took my daughter to a slumber party a few hours ago and all her friends came out when they heard the car drive up and said "Mr. Davis I love your mustang." One of them said, "It's so sophisticated."
I've thought it was a lot of things, but sophisticated never came to mind.
Anyway I took the long way home again. Its like I'm 16 again looking for any reason to run an errand, just as long as I don't have to park out of view or next to anyone.

It's still snowing and blowing here this morning. Hard to tell how much more snow we got over night. I can see everything from bare spots to 3 ft drifts. And they are still forcasting 5-8 more inches today with 40 mph winds. Oh yeah...bite me Al Gore!!!!
The bad news for me is my car is being delivered next week so it's probably sitting in all that snow out there somewhere! BUT, when it does get here, I can drive it!!!!!!

I'm in Canton, Ohio. Football Hall of Fame city, South of Cleveland. I'm going to grab my digicam and take some pics. I've never seen snow like this in my life.
I'm just north of you and you're right...not since the blizzard of 78 do I remember conditions like this. Looks like it'll be an indoor weekend here. I measured the snow in my backyard...17 inches!

Hey 05 GT and Scootr,
I am just north of Dayton about 20 miles. Just took a couple of short vids around here. I live out in the country. It's hard to tell how much snow we really got. I can see areas that are blown clean to 3 ft high drifts. My guess is maybe 10 inches. They say it should let up down here by mid afternoon. But what's down here now is still headed your guys way. And Scott...I was nicknamed Scooter during my high school years.

Looking good 05GT!!. It looks like you may have more snow than us. Well it's 1:15 pm and it is still snowing hard and blowing hard but now the wind has changed from the northeast to the northwest. They say the snow will stop here by 4 pm. I have almost 600 feet of driveway to clear. But I won't even try until the wind lays down. No point. I guess I know what I will be doing all day tomorrow!

. This is what I think of Global warming and Algore.
