You know, ANYone can go to the Media Preview of these auto shows... Brad countered my claim saying "SEMA is really picky about who they let in" when I claimed anyone could get in. Guess what! There was a line of public folks out the door who were buying tickets and walking right in.
Same for the Detroit show and Chicago show... just tell them the name of any auto web site and you'll get tickets for free on Media days.

These tickets are for the public I am referring to. I don't know too much about the Media entry, but I know NAIAS is different then SEMA. The cars at NAIAS are all manufacturer cars and concepts, not aftermarket (as you probably already know), given SEMA has maybe a few concepts, but mainly ones that have already been seen or introduced to the public. NAIAS doesn't show concepts that have been seen or introduced unless leaked or allowed by the manufacturer, but NAIAS has a lot of security on every door of the show, i've enven seen some photographers and reps get hassled at the door by security. Again, I don't really know about the media deal, but I'm sure they just won't let anyone in without proper ID and credentials...every one his own I guess.

(EDIT: :P
I see what you are saying about the Chicago auto show, but NAIAS is not the same. They DO ask for ID and they DO have a whole lot of security. I'm not saying you can't get in the Chicago Show with doin the online reg. but that's not gonna work at this show...unless you have done it.
Make a different thread about the Chicago show. This one is about the NAIAS.
2 different shows... 2 different topics.
Joe is just mentioning to people that tickets are now available.
Soooooooooooooooooo
SIMMA DOWN NAW!!!
