And what is this about "winter's coming"? Don't any of you drive your stangs in the Winter or am I the only one?? Besides, I'm originally from Central Illinois - there is no Winter weather south of Litchfield or at least very little!

Why do you think I put air shocks on the back of my '78? It was for the sand tubes in the Winter. Now I find that in my '05 if I need more weight, I just buy 9 boxes of cat litter - easier to load and unload. That will work anyway as long as the cat is still alive - she's 17 and is having some issues.

 

Sunday afternoon would be great for me, I work Saturdays midnights now. I'll be switching to evenings though nov. 1, and I'm off sundays.

 

Last time I was at Pere Marquette was senior skip day in HS. That was in the mid 70's. that would be fun.
Yes, I drive mine all winter, just too many hills with snow, steel dads Expedition then but only for a few days till the roads clear.

 

Well what's it going to be? I can't do it October 28th as we have to go out of town that day. Just let me know when and where.

 

OMG Doug, I see in your sig that a valet wrecked your car! Sorry I missed that original post obviously.

We were in downtown Chicago in 2003 in my blue '78. A valet wanted to park my car. It was the only way that we could park in the garage directly across from the hotel. They would not even let me ride with them. So we told them NO WAY and walked 1 block over from the hotel and parked the car ourselves.

When we went to leave on Sunday, we saw valet drivers tearing through the garage with cars. Hence the exact reason why a valet will NEVER park my cars!! Remember the movie "Ferris Bueler's Day Off"??

 

OK, we have , Nov. 4th, 11th, 18th ( I will be in Green Bay) and the 25th. Then we're into Dec.
This is assuming we are going to do it on a Sunday.
