Mr Tom-
See if you can get some kinda discount on tuning too if a fella were to decide they would like their brenspeed programming fine-tuned

I would definitely be interested..I'd probably have more preference it was Doug, though. rmays06: I'm in dearborn too...I didn't know you were a moderator on here..can't wait for telegraph this summer..

I would assume they could tune the timing, air/fuel mixture, tighten lifters,...stuff like that??....maybe?

The only problem with asking about custom tuning is that if alot of us go, it will take a couple of hours just to work us all in and tuning the cars can take an additional hour or more so it could make a long (read, $$) day.

I'm in no way dissin' Doug because he's awesome.... but having tried tunes from both Doug and Brent, I prefer Brent's for throttle response and power.

Cody, I would fully recommend that you call Brenspeed directly and talk to either Brent or Dave about tuning your car...... I don't think they will but don't take my word for it.

Look guys, the other option here is Brenspeed's annual Dyno Day. Last year they had three of these events- one in May, July, and October. For $50 you get three pulls on the dyno with air/fuel monitoring. Unless we get more people committed, the Dyno Day will be more economical for everyone. I went to two of the three last year and they are a blast! Free food, fast cars, great time........ plus some of you have expressed interest in waiting until springtime weather so maybe this is the best way to handle it.

WHAT DO ALL OF YOU THINK? WHAT WOULD YOU RATHER DO???

Let me know, thanks to all of you!

Personally I'm more of a small-group fan than a large crowd fan, but I'll be in for whatever.

And good point on the tuning taking up a lot of time, I didn't think of that.

oh...I didnt realize that this was a 'non-tuning' dyno day....but hey...I've never had the beast on a dyno...so I'm still in! But we did just get an lot of snow....and I'll be honest, I do not forsee getting my car out untill mid-March...or maybe April.

Brent's been really busy lately with a family issue...... I'll be talking to him hopefully early next week.

So there is no misunderstanding: we would try to setup a dyno-day just for the TMS group here, right? As I said before, I don't think tuning each car will be an option as it can be a lengthy process.

NO!!!!

I have a church Fish Fry on the 21st!!! I Won't be able to make it..

But hey!!!! I have an idea. After a long day of being at the dyno...I bet some good fish might quench some appitites...you should all cruise over to my church and help send my Youth Group on our mission Trip...I believe it will be all you can eat!...and my chuch is only about 30 mins away from Brenspeed! Whatya think!?...I'll have the '65 there...!

I hope all of you can make it! There are guys on GT Tech forums that don't post here alot (or at all LOL!) that plan to go, so let's all try to make it so we can meet and check out each other's rides!!
