Saturday: SMS Car Show and Open House

• More than 30 Saleen and SMS classes!
• Expanded classes for 2005-09 S-series 3-Valve, Supercharged and Extreme!
• Also classes for other Mustangs and Fords, plus Chevrolet, Camaro, Dodge and Challenger, and more!
• Special Display Only category for those who don't want their Saleen judged -- bring your daily driver or fixer-upper!
• Special SOEC awards for Saleen entries: Longest Distance Driven, Longest Distance Traveled, Best Non-Judged (nomination required)
• SMS Factory tours
• A face painter, balloon clown and bounce house for the kids!
• Poster signing and autograph session with Steve!
• Steve Saleen will autograph Saleen vehicles after the show -- please be by your Saleen to have it signed.

I hope I can put some time aside this week to clean the car or I'm going dirty

 

I really wanted to go to this event...something came up last minute. Was anybody able to take some pics of the event..

Too bad this is the same day as street legals at Fontana.

 

Show was great Steve and Molly were the greatest of hosts , unfortunatly for me I had to run off (family thing) before I could get a good picture with Steve and have him sign my car.
So let me just send my Thanks to everyone at SMS for a wonderful day.

 

I forgot to mention I did win a couple of trophies I got 2nd place in my class (ofcourse there was only 3 of us) but I also won The Best of Show which cought me totaly of gaurd

Just wondering, 2nd place in class? What distinguished the 1st place car?

 

The classes were voted on by the other participants while the best of show was upto Steve and his people .
the 1st place car was a blue Dan Gurney car
