The first San Diego Region SCCA Auto-X of 2013 was held at Qualcomm stadium Sunday. Antique Autocrosser (the dude, not the car) John won F Stock in a triumphant victory over 3 other drivers, including last years' championship winner, Doug. (who was driving half dead with the flu) John said later "I'll take the win anyway I can. I'll need it later; Doug is hard to beat when he's feelin' good." Asked how he's planning to beat Doug ten more times for the 2013 title; John sez he's gonna use premium fuel instead of regular this year, and he's gonna race with a trunk full of helium party balloons to lighten his car some. https://themustangsource.com/members...auto-x-won.jpg Stay tuned, next race is March 3. |
