I have a group (total number yet to be decided, I think it's up to 4 or 5 right now) that will meet in Duarte at 8:00 am and we plan on getting to your place by 9:00 am. Please check this map and let me know if it is accurate.



For all of you that wish to meet in Duarte at 8:00, I figure it's about a half hour drive to our starting location in Tujunga. There is a Best Buy just north of the 210 Fwy off of Mountain Ave exit. (1470 Mountain Ave. Duarte, CA 91010).

So from Newcombs ranch we are going all the way to the 138 correct? From your place, Ed, thats close to 70 miles one way. Not sure if round trip you meant turning back from Newcombs.
Man I can't wait, that's a bunch of sweet canyon driving.

 

Round trip is 70 miles from my house and the map is accurate. Look for a big water tank on the left coming up the hill from tujunga 2 houses before the bridge on the left.You also will parking in front of my house (left side) as well as alot of parking accross the street next door. Thanks Ed

That's farther than I want to go. Maybe half that distance.

But if a group wants to continue on... that's ok.

 

All I can say its about 65-70 miles round trip from my house. Hope to see anybody that wants to go.We have a posse of stangs going already. You guys that want to save gas can just go up the 2 north and we will see you there. Also Ray Man have you seen the black and silver meguires car? Its in monrovia..My freind thinks he knows you

FYI to all Hwy 2 off the 210 frwy. is closed to Newcombs Ranch. So this is why Big Tujunga Cyn Rd is an alternate.Lets try and keep this thread open.Please reply if you are still going.

 

I'm going and I'll try and get confirmation from others. Might be a little early yet but we'll see.

 

My pal is painting the new rear facia on the Maguires show car and will be ready for next weekend. Bring your cameras so we can post some pics.Its black and silver & runs around Monrovia from time to time.

 

Have him meet me at the Best Buy in Duarte at 8:00 am if he's in the area.
