Looks like a real chill event
I'll have to make it down sometime and check it out.

 

This past week was on the small side, probably due to many other events going on, but was still fun hanging out with good friends and nice cars. Lets get it back on track like the previous week.

so tomorrow looks like it may rain so Im already seeing a lot of people planning for next week. hopefully tomorrow doesnt rain and we will have some people out but either way next week 2-26-11 should be very big. spread the word and lets make it so!

theres been a lot of feedback over the past 2 weeks of people coming out this saturday and the numbers were growing, so rain or shine it will go on! Hopefully the reports will be wrong like they were last Saturday and the rain will hold off till late in the day.

That appears to be a serious orgy of horsepower and sexy lines. It's a 3+ hour drive (each way) for me and I don't see me dragging my son on that long trip just so I can see some cars. That said, if it's every weekend, maybe this summer I can plan a Seaworld visit which includes a little car ogling.

 

This Saturday will be the usual Cbad Cars event and immediately after there will be a large cruise over to JR Competition in Escondido where they will have an open house, live music and bbq. JR will have additional cars at their shop on display ranging from Bonneville race cars to modern day muscle but this is open to ALL CARS and ALL ARE WELCOME! Spread the word.

I created a simple route from Cbad Cars to JR Performance just in case people get separated on the way there. If the link doesnt work please let me know and just in case Ill post directions in the comments below: http://www.mapquest.com/?version=1.0&hk=9-CR0M31CT

1. Start out going SOUTHEAST on PASEO DEL NORTE toward PALOMAR AIRPORT RD/CR-S12 W. 0.4 mi

2. Take the 1st LEFT onto PALOMAR AIRPORT RD/CR-S12 E. Continue to follow CR-S12 E.
If you reach CAMINO DEL PARQUE you've gone about 0.4 miles too far 8.7 mi

3. Merge onto CA-78 E.
If you reach CA-78 W you've gone about 0.3 miles too far 3.1 mi

4. Take the NORDAHL RD exit, EXIT 15. 0.2 mi

5. Turn RIGHT onto N CITRACADO PKWY.
If you reach CA-78 E you've gone about 0.1 miles too far 0.1 mi

6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AUTO PARK WAY. 1.3 mi

7. Turn RIGHT onto S ANDREASEN DR.
S ANDREASEN DR is just past S VINEWOOD ST 0.3 mi

8. Take the 2nd RIGHT onto WINERIDGE PL.
If you reach ENTERPRISE ST you've gone about 0.1 miles too far 0.04 mi

9. 2080 WINERIDGE PL is on the RIGHT.
If you reach S VINEWOOD ST you've gone a little too far

This past Saturday was a great turnout, and I believe we had a little more than 50 of the cars that showed up at Cbad go on the cruise over to JR Performance. BTW a big thank you to JR for opening their doors and serving up some good tasting burgers and brats. I thought the threat of rain would lead many to stay home, but thankfully that did not happen. Lets keep the event growing, so please continue spreading the word. There will be more events like the cruise/open house in the future so stay tuned and become a fan on facebook:

bumpity bump bump for this coming Saturday April 9th! After Cbad a group of us will be cruising over to San Marcos to grab some pizza at Station Pizza, then perhaps a bigger cruise after that for those that want to make a day out of it. Hope to see you all there!

This Saturday should be a very big turnout, there are at least 20 confirmed L4Pers and their exotics coming down from OC (late in the morning, so dont leave early) and there will be a cruise over to Station Pizza afterwards to meet up with even more cars before heading out on a run up to Julian for those who want to make a day out of it. There is also a group of Mustangs and Panteras who may join us at Cbad Cars before driving down the same path but with the destination of JR Competition for a tech day.
