Angeles National Forest
I know I'm not a member of any clubs or anything yet, I was thinking of joining one but most are in the SD area and it would be way to hard to go meet people down in SD. I live in the San Fernando Valley, north LA.
Well to get to the point the Angeles National forest roads are full of mountainous twisties with not many people on them on Sunday afternoons and Saturday afternoons. Sport Bikers frequent the road for the endless amount of turns and twisties. It's a really great cruise spot with tons of scenic views. There's a few good meeting spots on the mountain I know of that could fit about 10 cars and possibly a barbecue. Just a suggestion mind you, feel free to comment.

join our club surfsidemustangs all of socal, LA, OC and SD, we are going to try to make the next one up there since all the events this summer have been down here, but next Sunday there is a huge show at the queen mary PM me for details on everything I can add you to the mailer of events and check out the sticky above I will update it tonight.
Be very, very careful organizing an event like this. There used to be an annual "mountain cruise" through angeles crest. Last time it was officially run there were several major crashes including a Mustang Cobra R. The CHP stopped several of us on the way down and "suggested" that we make thi the last one. There was a website for it, i'll try to find it
