2011 stock Mustang GT wanted...
Hey West Coast Mustang Owners
GTR high performance in Rancho Cucamonga is looking for a stock 2011 Mustang GT for a non-tune CAI magazine story. The part is being provided by Air-Raid and installed by GTR for a deep discount if not free. I believe it's a story for 5.0 mag but don't quote me.
If you're interested email Ricardo@gtrhipo.com and tell him Brandon referred you.

Sent an email and called and spoke to Ricardo. Very cool dude. Knows his stuff.
He says its not free and would be around 250-275 for the intake and the dyno time. I think that's a little steep just for just a CAI. Plus I was really wanting to get those Bassani axlebacks.
Having my car in 5.0 magazine would be really cool. Iono what do you guys think?

If the price is cheaper than the over the counter charge for part, install and dyno time, than I think you come out ahead. But, im not familiar with the brand, so that might be a negative. Of course, being in a magazine is pretty awesome!

Heres an update
So I'm going to pass on the CAI. It's going to be $270 for the CAI and the before & after dyno at the shop. I was saving up for the Bassani Axlebacks. Def would want to splurge on those bad boys first. Hope to work with GTR in the near future, seems like a very good and reputable shop.

I passed on in too. I'm still wary of modding to due warranty issues. And I'm concerned with running a CAI w/o a tune. I know Air Raid designed it for that purpose, but I can't afford to gamble with being the guinea pig.
It's a good deal for anyone looking for an Air Raid CAI
