I am planning my Ultimate Road for next year to travel from Richmond, Virginia to the MCA National June 22-24, in Concord, CA Of course this totally depends on the cost of gas next spring.

The fartherest west I have been is Missouri. I have 3 weeks for the trip and I plan on following I-40 in general going west.

This should be fun

 

I did the whole east to west coast drive last year, moving from DC to San Diego. Took I-90 most of the way accross. The wife wanted to see the northern part of the country. Stopped in Montana and Washington to see family before heading south down I-5. Talk about a long trip, with a Trailer, 2 kids and a big dog. Saw alot of great scenery along the way.

I am thinking of taking a more southern route generally along I-40 out to CA and a more northernly route on the way back.

I know that I want to see the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas on the way out among other places that I have not decided on yet

 

Tony - Now that is what I call a road trip!

 

Dude I SO envy you - I would love to plan and do a trip like that.....
