Btw, remember how the car felt on the juice?? I'll take you on a pass with slicks. It feels even more sick on slicks on motor than the juice ever did on street tires.

I tried that once.... have the bent UCA to prove it... to bad I dont have the juice anymore

I would like to make it out to the track Friday night. Jewls and I are coming up from P'cola. I've never rode on the drag strip before, so I might need some advice from you pros.

Jewls and I were there last night at 1030, but didn't see any other 05 owners. Got several runs in, and beat everything from light to light, even though one WRX STI did beat me in ET buy .2. But got to run a 2000 Mustang GT, a F body 5.0, a Neon SRT with a wicked blow off valve and exhaust (no telling what else). The SRT sounded awesome, and I thought I was going to get beat. But on all the races where I'd be even in the 1/8, I'd start pulling away from 80 up to 100+ mph. Even the two other stangs, we'd be dead even for the first 330', then I'd just start walking away.
Good time, had a blast, now off to the races at Barber.

I was there last night. Arrived a little late, but made it in time to see you pulling into the staging lanes for your first run. You progressively got better shaving over 1/2 second off your time by the end of the night.
I thought the SRT was going to give you a run for your money, but you killed him off the line. I was really surprised at how the SRT sounded.
The guy with the WRX STi was hooking really good with the AWD obviously. Did you talk to him...did he have anything aftermarket done to his engine?
Your car looks great, and I like the spinners on the Bullitts.
I was also surprised no one else showed up.

I was on my way to Steele last night, stopped in Trussville to have dinner with some friends, and ended up getting drunk off my hiney. 
Anyhow, I was at Barbers from 9:30-5, parked my Black '05 GT next to a Black '05 GT wih a ducktail and an Okaloosa county plate, so maybe that was you guys! I dig the spoiler! I hung out in the expo area in front of the two Lotus Elises, but I never really found any Mustang peeps, although I did walk around all your cars, and of course I was there to drool over the blue Ford GT.
The race was awesome, and I look like a lobster!

Nope that wasn't us. Hatchman's is Mineral grey. We saw 3 05's parked near the car corral, two black and one sonic blue, but no one knew who they belonged to. We also saw Brad's car in the car corral, but never saw anyone from the forum all weekend until the BBQ. By the way, had an awesome time this weekend, it was nice to meet a couple people I talk to on here and big thanks to Brad!

We didn't see any rain at Steele or at Barber. I think there was a very light sprinkle for about 2 minutes, and that's it.

I am about 30 minutes south off 65. Friday at around five the skies opened up and didn't let loose again.
