OK gang due to the success of our first get together, "we" (who shall remain nameless) figured it would be great to schedule another one for those who were unable to attend and to meet some new faces for those of us who went on 7/15/06.
We have two dates in mind, 8/12/06 or 8/19/06. Majority rules!

Place: Race Rock in Orlando (seems to be a good median location)
Time: 11am til ??

 

I (who shall remain nameless) am in for either.

But to start the voting, will pick the 12th.

I'm in... have to work weekend of the 12th. So I change my vote to the 19th

Brother in law lives in Orlando, looks like time for a visit.

 

Tell you what - for now I will back you up on the 19th - just found out about a surprise b-day party for a family friend on the 12th I should really be at... so I'm going with 19th now

 

I will take the 12th. My birthday is the 13th, so I can use the "I want to go for my Birthday" excuse! HA!

 

I vote the 12th, I have to move back to Gainesville the 20th so the 19th might be tough to manage.

 

I'm in, either or the two dates work for me. Folks still live in the O-town area and they love to see their grandson... Speaking of dates, I think I took a prom date to that place when it was first opened, not as Race Rock... Now what was the name... Anyone remember...

 

The 12th is in the lead so far...........

 

Im definetly in, just have to wait till I see the new schedule at work before I can decide which day I wanna vote for.

On another note, I heard from MTAS and he looks to be locked into the 12th - so the 12th looks like the winner.

Right now I think we are looking at a decent turnout!!

Any cool local places we can cruise to after the Race Rock??....

 

I'd like to make this one but I have work related obligations for the 12th so I pick the 19th.

 

The Mid Florida Mustang club hosts a cruise on the 12th....in Cassellberry, FL about 25 minustes from Race Rock....starts 6pm...usually 50-75 cars...

Old Town, in Kissimmee has a Saturday nite cruise, open to cars built prior to 1972....

On the 19th..Old Town,,,built prior to 1972...

Any 'cool' place will do! My only complaint about the last meet was the hot non-shaded parking lot. I really enjoy the mini car show and bs session before lunch.

I should be able to make either date, although it sounds like it will be the 12th. Looking forward to it!

Anybody else going green? Where are all the other Lime orphans?
