Every Sunday from 5PM - 10PM at the Pompano Beach Hooters Restaurant is a muscle car meet welcomin all types of american muscle. from classic to new age.
BBR and United Stangs of America put on this event weekly. Some very nice cars go out there. Great discounts on food and drink for folks that show their car. Live DJ and of course Hooters chicks!!!

Could have sworn I read something about someone trying to start up a 'muscle car' meet at that Hooters on another forum but I can't remember for sure....

 

This is the one on Federal by Copans right? I thought that was Lighthouse Point, but what do I know. Anyway, is there anything to do besides show up with your sled?

 

Yeah. Obviously show up with your sled. There is food and drinks. We are going to have a hooters girl pick. The winner of that gets a $25 gift cert. for hooters. Hopefully by next week I'll have a DJ out there as well as 93 ROCK stoping by to do their thing for an hour or so.

 

Lighthouse point is everything east of US1 and north of copans. Thats all pompano south and west of US1

Well, besides the guy whose wheel fell off (ouch), I think everybody else had a good time. I think I got there a bit after 6, and had to make sure I didn't hit that guy since he was in the entrance I was comming in from.

 

Great turn out for the first week. Had so many awesome cars.

Event should get bigger and better every week.

We had 35 cars this week hoping to get at least 45 next week... maybe more.

Sorry. I didn't see any table for organisers or anything. I got there, checked out the rides, went in and ate at the bar and left right as I was seeing the rain comming in. Is there anyplace specific that you are at so I know for next week?
