Hopefully, we'll have some great weather at Silver Springs.
Although, I heard that forecasters expect the El Nino weather pattern to bring some wet weather this winter.
We'll see.
Arg, I guess that means I'll be skipping class a lot.
I'm sure it'll rain every time I wash my car!! **** el nino.

oh and btw. There is an area for clubs to pull off and meet. So when we get up there we can go in separatly but be parked together when everyone meets up. We just have to have a list of phones and a conctact cell number.

I'm sending in my registration tomorrow. Hope I'm part of the first 1,000! Sounds like another Mustang caravan from PC. I'll come prepared to eat dust from you speed demons, again.

For those of you that have been to this show before, how much time did you spend at the park versus hanging out with the cars? I'm thinking about possibly bringing the wife and maybe the monkey grandkids.

Well I spent it at both. There are so many cars to see but I still took some time for the attractions. They are really fun.

There's a decent Holiday Inn directly across the street from the show. They may be full by now and they typically require a 2-night minimum (Fri-Sat). There are 3-4 really tacky motels within 2-3 blocks of the show but you'd be roughing it. (Don't ask me how I know!)

The other choice is to stay out at I-75. There's a variety of hotels at all the Ocala exits (SR200, SR40, US27) and they range from Hilton, Marriott on down to Best Western, etc. That's what I've done in the past and will again this year. You can take your car out at 5:00 pm on Saturday if you wish.

BTW, Perry's house is a bit of a haul from Ocala.

lol first off the show for those that have never been is great. There really isnt any rides other than the glass bottom boats of which I do recommend doing at least once.
I live about 40 min away from Ocala I remember last year some of us met up at the Steak N Shake and then cruised in together maybe we can do something like that again.

This sounds really fun, count me in =)

So, the cars are judged (voted) for by other people walking around the park? I am kinda worried... my car has alot of blemishes... maybe i can talk my grandpa into helping me fix them =)
and boy do i need to clean.... clean clean clean.... this is gonna be crazy!!

Sound's like a great idea, I know they will let you pull over and meet up before checking in.

So now lets toss out some times, I'll go first:

8 am for those of us driving down or up day of show.

I just want to make sure we are not leaving at 6:00 am from orlando. I think 9:00 would be better for us.
