Pictures from the MCA Show in Birmingham
Was there myself Saturday from 0800-1300.
My pictures of the Stampede.

These were some of my favorites. Can you tell I'm biased?

Did anybody see that red mustang funny car with humongous blower and the big fat drag tires on the back? What's the story on that thing? It was leaving as i was arriving Saturday. I think i could feel the pavement shaking.
I want to say thanks to everyone who brought a car to this stampede. I enjoyed every sight and sound.

Seriously though, my favorite cars were the garage queens down by the track.

I didn't see much of any I didn't want to bring home with me. Well eleanor(not mine) was a given, The original Hertz
,Those bosses(all of em),Jason's Mach, the Bullitts, I promised Brian I would behave, so I didn't drool on anything or go nuts about any of them.
I like the bragboards- Did anyone else see the THIS IS THAT ONE?
Playboy pink isn't as impressive in person I thought.
Anyone get a picture of the hill from hell?

The '66 Shelby Hertz belongs to Ray Bryan who is a member of the Rocket City Mustang Club. He retired from Motorola a few years ago and has been restoring cars ever since. I actually got to drive the car one day for lunch. Pretty sweet ride.
