Photos from this weekend (Multiple Days Events Inside)
I took almost 700 photos between Friday morning and Sunday. I had an amazing time and got to meet alot of new people (well I knew them through the internet mostly). Also getting the chance to drive on the track in PSH was incredible even if restricted to 45mph speeds (I Know I did almost double that once )
Now, onto the galleries
Btw, these are all low res photos, if there are any particular ones you want in high res, right click on the photo, go to properties to get the file name. Send me a PM with it and your e-mail and I can send you the full size.
Friday Morning Caravan
TMS Members met up at Vulcan Park in Birmingham, AL and cruised to Barber Motorsport Park. Great time, but traffic made it difficult to get good photo ops without getting ran over
Misc. Show Pictures
Lots of gorgeous cars.
Misc. Track Pictures
Some cars ripping it up during the 2 days worth of open track events.
J2D Open Tracking
Forum member J2D open tracking his white 2004 Kenny Brown equipped GT. This is his second time to let it all out at Barbers and judging from the brake dust on his wheels, i'd say he wasnt holding back at all.
Project Source Horse On Track
Not only did I get to drive PSH on the track, I got a chance to ride in the back of the CDC supercharged convertible car and do a photoshoot of PSH on the track. Drivers: Brad Barnett - PSH / Evil_Capri- CDC Shaker Vert

Nice shots of OSH on the track. Pity you didn't have longer glass and a slower shutter speed to get closer and give some sensation of speed. Shutter that fast just makes it look like PSH was standing still.

Well it was a spur of the moment photo op and I didnt even have time to change lens or I could have had closer shots. I opted also for a faster shutter speed since Brad had a photoshoot the day before with Brad Bowling, which the shots were very good and show "speed". We wanted to get clean and sharp photos of PSH on the track when I shot.

Nikon D50..those were with the 18-55 kit lens. I had a quantray 70-300 in the bag, but no way could i swap while going around the track.

Almost got the Nikon, couldn't pass up on the Pentax *ist DL though. I love an underdog (old Minolta film shooter) and the $100 rebate was too good to pass up. Only glass I have is the 18-55 kit lens, Sigma 70-300 coming though just in time for the puck drop and the Angels at NAS Jacksonville.
