as many may know here in Citrus County we have been trying to start a local mustang club known as the
"Nature Coast Mustangs". Well the good news is our local Ford dealerships are now sponsoring us . So with that news on Sept 29th we are having our first show at the Inverness Ford dealership http://nicknicholasford.dealerconnection.com/?lang=en
There will be awards for
Best of show
Best paint
Best interior
Best engine
and also an award for "Dealership Choice"
VMP tuning will also be there to do dynos
so far we have them @ 2 dyno pulls for $60
The cost for registration is $20.00
We will also have the "North Central Florida Mustangs" there as well.

There was a pre registration but they put the plans together kinda fast so the pre-regisitration ends on the 22nd
the cost for pre registration is $15.00
and day of show cost is $20.00

the times are as follows
Registration is 8 am to 12pm
Judging 12pm to 3pm
Awards at 4pm

Looks like 370hp to the wheels, but it was really hot outside so.............could be even better than that?

That yellow NewEdge Stang needs some meatier tires.

 

Sure was a great turn out. The dealership told me they only expected about half of what showed up. I think we scared them, to the good that is. Problem there was, by not expecting such a turn out, they were not prepared for it. Only one award to each class, was a tough pill to swallow at the end of the day. But it explained why the two Judge's did what they were doing as they kept circling the show cars. I couldn't get a straight answer from them, but the end result showed me why they were doing it. I hope any show that we are ultimately responsible for, will have enough awards, so the most get to go home with something, versus just a handful. after all there were 150+ show cars there.

Are you still in citrus county? We have an 04 mystichrome cobra and would like to take her out to play with the other local mustangs. Can't find anything around here.

 

the north coast meeting is tonight nov 15 at Nick Ford .. 7 pm but the buffalo bills at thursday NFL game and I will be watching it .. have fun
