Anyone else go?
Had to be 750 cars there....lot's of 05's (not many were modded yet tho).
SVT guys were there...They said "..any dealer who says he is definetly getting a cobra is BSing you. We haven't even locked in the final design, or how many we are actually going to make. There is NO DISTRO plan yet!..." He also said the Shelby would have options available (hinted at tires & wheels). He hinted that 475hp is a conservative estimate.
Slalom course was fun except at first the ending point was the same as the start point. They were staging the next car at the starting line and the guys were screamin' by to finish their lap....saw a couple of them clear the waiting stang by about 2 inches to spare...at speed! After a few of those they staged them off the line.
Not much rain. Some VERY endowed Cobra's. Saw a 650hp plus pull on a mid 90s black vert at the portable dyno.
Couldn't take my car (have 4 kids) and could only steat away at certain times. The beach was nice, even if at times it was 130 degrees in the shade.

I did not make the video. It was awful. It was a Kenny Brown Cobra pushing close to 700 HP. All along the side of the road, people were video taping and trying to get people to do burnouts when they turned out. The guy was just showing out and lost it. He had trailored the car in from Maryland from what I was told. His girlfriend was on the passenger side. She was extremely lucky not to have been hurt bad.

I was there for three days. Hot but fun. I picked up a trophy for my '67. Not too many older models were showing. Watching the dyno and the autocross was fun. Lots of pictures at mustangweek.com and blackmustangclub.com[attachmentid=29762]
