Mustang Dyno Day - Alabama 8/23/08
Hey Guys, If anybody wants to come and join our Southern Stangs Dyno Day at Walkers Dyno in Trussville, Alabama, we do have one spot left. This spot will be filled by the first person that I am sure wants it. Any later requests will be put on a waiting list in the event one of the other participants can't make it.
So far, this is the schedule that we have mapped out:
9:00am - 2008 GT500 w/upgraded blower
9:40am - 2005 Saleen Mustang or 1965 Shelby Cobra
10:20am - 2006 Mustang GT w/Roushcharger
11:00am - 1985 Mustang GT
11:40am - This spot is available
12:20 to 1:20 Lunch time (we need to give Blake a rest somewhere)
1:20pm - 2007 Mustang GT w/Roushcharger
2:00pm - 2008 GT500 w/upgraded blower
2:40pm - 2006 Roush Mustang
3:20pm - 2006 Supercharged Saleen Mustang
4:00pm - 2000 Mustang GT
4:40pm - 2005 Roush Mustang
5:20pm - 1995 Mustang GT w/Kenny Bell or 2006 Mustang GT
This should be a great event if anyone wants to come by and check it out !
So far, we have 11 pretty good cars going on the Dyno, but we need one more. If anyone is interested, please send me a PM. There is no money being raised or made at this event, we are just splitting the cost of the dyno rental between all participating cars, which comes to $50 each, and that includes at least 3 pulls on the dyno and graphs etc.

It looks like last night the last spot was filled by a 2003 Mustang Cobra with a Kenny Bell upgraded Supercharger.
I would also like to have someone on a waiting list in case any of the current participants has trouble getting there on Saturday, and to see if there was any way you could be squeezed in.
7 supercharged Mustangs and 5 other sweet Mustangs - looks like a great day for some good numbers.

I think Brad really wanted to come, but he wanted Doug to be there to fine tune his car if it needed tweeking. I did not think Doug was going to be there, so I told Brad that. (my fault).
Doug did come by in the afternoon, and I met him for the first time. He seems like a really cool guy. He was also telling me of something that he was working on with C&L on the Dodge Challengers that sounded sick, and the horsepower that they were getting out of the naturally aspirated motors got my attention.
I think the pony wars are back now. I just hope that they can stick around for awhile, and not get ruined by the gasoline situation. - Didn't this same thing happen in the early 70's ?
