For the local Stang pals :-)

I know some of you are really interested in my photography ( I have taken pics of your Stangs, or you just like my pics...... etc)

So I wanted to share a selection of tonights fireworks with you
The power lines were in the way but i still fired off a few good shots.
Enjoy

Hope this thread is ok and doesn't get moved

It was my 3rd time at this display so I had an idea where to point the cam.

I used my Canon Rebel XTI ( 10.1 megapixel ). The settings I used are:
ISO 400
F 9.0
shutter= bulb ( open and close shutter manually)
Auto white balance
Tripod

Glad you guys like them

Is it ok if I do that? I was afraid of getting in trouble for double posting. I wanted to make sure my local pals got to see them, thats why I posted in here.

Nice pics, Fireworks are hard to capture...I tried doing some without the tripod and only got a few shots to turn out.

Hey Jackie, I know you were using a manual shutter release (IR remote if i had my guess), what was your thoughts on determining when to open and close the shutter. Like did you open when you hear the explosion of each shot or what?

I waited until I saw a firework going up then opened the shutter, left it open for a few seconds enough to capture the explosion of the firework I used a tripod so they would not be blurry.
