dave what is the car count and what model and year are they????

 

Did anybody know this is the same weekend for the Shrimp Festival? Just wondering...Up till about two hours ago, I didn't know shrimp had a festival...

 

I had mentioned the shrimp fest to Dave last month... but i think the general consensus (sp?) was to take Hecksher Drive and do The Surf. I'm hoping that the majority of Shrimp fest traffic is on 95. Also, Sunday is the last day and it shuts down early. so most of the traffic will be leaving the island (i hope!).

Ok, believe it or not 12 confirmed people so far...BUT.............i have like 2 or 3 people saying that they are bringing like 5 people.... but 12 confirmed for sure.... 95% 05's....

William, you slacker off of work today.... what if i would have needed something and the expert wasn't there!!!
Anyway, I saw 5 county mounties, 1 state patrol and 3 State officers with Wilddlife mgt on the round trip. They are heads up looking for drunks this weekend from the shrimp festival i suppose. Anyway, it is approx 30 miles from our starting point.. I forgot how much i loved that road to drive on. Anyway, See all of you in the am. i will try to pick up some coffee and donuts for any straglers that come rollin in late!

All I have to say is what a great group of people!!!! Thank you all for coming, and thanks for being so flexible....Though I must tell you, you missed it, archie was dancing on the tables at mango's...it was classic!!!!!

 

WHAT A FUN DAY!!! Thanks to everyone for making it such a blast (and thanks for not hitting my rear!) It was great meeting all of you... lets do it again soon, but next time, lets try to avoid any confrontations with johnny law, okay?

I HAD A FREAKIN BLAST!!! I'm still tripin over it! You guys are all awesome! I really want to keep in touch with you all, and definitely do this again! I know we just finished this one, but when are we doing this overnighter? HAHA! I'm dead serious...And as far as mango's...no more table dancing...HAHA...My pics are being developed now, so i'll post as soon as i get them scanned in...Next time i'll remember my digi camera! I thought it was all so awesome, how so many different people can get together...I thought age might play a factor in today, but I didn't feel awkward at all. It was a great group! But enough of me rambling...I could probably go on for awhile! Post pics soon...

 

Leesi, you had to bring up the lil "incident" didn't you. you were just glad you were not the center of all the trouble i know how it is.

As far as the age thing Archie, That is what is cool about america man, people make it go round, all different ages........the car is a bond that we all share that help us break down walls and barriers.....I felt the same way. And as long as we can keep this lil incident under wraps, we will all get along just fine!!!!
