Fred Hunter with Fox Channel 6 in B'ham did a piece on our kart club in Decatur for his "Absolutely Alabama" short. It will air Friday at 6 o'clock and again on Sunday. Because they did the interview mid-day last Friday, I didn't have my shifter kart there so I had to drive a loaner Rotax kart. You probably won't see my interview (they choose to profile some of the little kids, figures), but you will see me flying around the track in a purple/blue Arrow kart. I hope they air the shot of me going airborne off of the track skirts. It looks cool because you get about 5 inches of air before going up and over the rise going down into the creek turn, but it hurts on the landing!
