Just seeing who out there has an '05 in the Florida panhandle and southern Alabama. Haven't heard of anyone doing a meet and greet in the area, so lets here from you that live in the area and we can set something up.

Sorry to here that, hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer. I don't think enough people check the Regional Chat section, there has got to be more people in the area that come to this site.

Well, nothing planned yet, if we get enough people, I think I am the only with an '05 that has responded on this post. Did you have any luck finding what you wanted on a lot?

 

No. Nothing yet. I bet I've searched over 200 dealerships.
I almost found one in LA.
It was the EXACT car I wanted, but it was ordered to be turned into a Saleen.
I never thought about it, but the way I ordered my car is probably the way all the aftermarket companies order their cars.

 

There was one I found in Houston that I posted when you were looking for help, matched exactly what you wanted except for leather.

 

Thanks for telling me again. I thought I got to all of them, but I guess I didn't.
I think I'll keep trying. I'm getting real discouraged though. Not even sure I'm willing to hold out for the one I ordered.

 

Still no VIN from the dealer? You should of went through the dealership I ordered through, they even delivered it to my doorstep.

 

At the time, I didn't realize how this would all work out. i.e. Dealers in the N.E. get less allocations for GT's in the winter & the fiasco with IUP. My dealer is the one Karpro (Paul) works for in upstate NY.
I was just going with the best price. Even the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best offers I was given haven't gotten any GT's w/ IUP so it would have taken a lot for me to find a dealer in Ft. Walton.
Maybe it'll get pulled tongiht. Wish me luck!

 

I didn't go to a dealer here, I went through a dealership in Mobile.

I have decided based on a lack of members of this forum that have their '05 and the unpredictable weather we have been having as late, that the meet and greet will most likely be in March or April. Sould be 70-80's weather by then, not this 70's one day, 50's the next like we are having now.

 

I'll be there. Just say when and where.
Did you see the latest commodities report from Karpro?
Looks like my car should get pulled this week.
I've got so many things crossed (fingers, toes, etc) I look like a pretzel.
I just hope I have time for a few mods before the meet.
