Birmingham Mustang Club and Jim Skinner have a show tomorrow. $10 entry fee. Saw the flyer at Speedsouth yesterday. Take PSH over there and put them to shame.

ATTENTION: The 2006 "Best Car Show Regardless" presented by Jim Skinner Ford and the Birmingham Mustang and Ford Club is scheduled for September 9th at Jim Skinner Ford on Parkway East in Huffman, AL. Entry fee is ONLY $10 - all proceeds go to charity. Door Prizes - Money Tree - T Shirts and Much, Much, More. This is an ALL FORD Show. All Ford vehicles must be Ford powered.

 

Make sure you wear your kevlar vest while in the area.

Nah its not too bad.. just dont wander off the main roads too far and you'll be ok. I might be taking PSH since Brad won't be able to. I'll let you guys know by the end of the day (after i clear it with teh wife)

 

I went there once in 2004, looking for my Eleanor. Never again! I don't like that end of town at all.

Besides, I am kind of ****ed of at Speedsouth and they are the ones who were advertising it. I just thought I would pass it along to the brave ones. Besides, both my ponies are broke right now.

 

Come on... the show isn't in North Birmingham or Gate City.

You guys really think Huffman is rough?

Last time I looked it seemed that it was turning - Trussville spilling nice things back over that way. <SHRUG>

Bad timing though... a Ford dealer parking lot show the week after a National MCA show held 10 miles away at one the the nicest race tracks in the country?

 

Nah, I don't like that end of town. Homewood or Mountain Brook is about as far north as I care to go.

I think its scrubby and creepy up there.

The only thing I like about Jim Skinner is the commercials.

 

Well after spending so much time at the track last weekend, its pretty much frowned upon if I take off another weekend for a show. Dont think PSH is gonna make a showing.
