I wanted to see if anyone was willing to meet up for lunch around 1:00?

I'm not as familiar with a central place to eat that can accomodate our cars readily. Any suggestions out there?

I wanted to try and do something before I went back on deployment next week. Please post if you would like to show up, and some ideas of where.

 

Yes, I am in. As far as suggestions, how about Cheesecake factory at the Summit, or Cracker Barrell at 280 and 459.

 

I am in. I will notify the other Bham residents that I know of. Although Cheesecake Factory is great, it is likely to be pretty crowded with holiday shoppers and not much space to "park as group away from the others." The Colonnade (Cracker Barrel location) or somewhere down 280 are good choices with office parks nearby for a nice setting for some group photos. Brian, I assume you will see if Brad is interested in coming?

 

Sounds good and I will be calling Brad today and see if Scott wants to come hang out as well. If I can call before they read this.

 

Please be aware of the expected interstate construction on Sunday. Two lanes of I-65 South will be closed near the Cahaba River Bridge from 6:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Plan your route accordingly. Of course, we need to firm up a place first!

 

I have another suggestion. How about Hooters on Hwy 280? Plenty of parking since the theater closed, and there is a nice office park across the street for photos.

 

How about Hamburger Heaven? It is down by Lloyd's.

 

Hooters or Hamburger Heaven sound fine to me. I know there is plenty of room in the old mall's parking lot so that would make it easier to get photos of our cars.

 

I vote for Hooters. Is anyone opposed to Hooters? I like the wide open parking lot (at least that is what I am telling my wife). I'll be there at 1:00 if anyone wants to join me.

I am not opposed to anywhere, just trying to lock something down.
