This is what I sent to our club members, but there's a lot of good info here.

Magic City Mustangs donated more than $2500 to Children's Hospital on Sunday, June 5 live on television at the Children's Miracle Network Telethon. The club would like to thank Town & Country Ford, AmericanMustang.net, TheMustangSource.com, and all of you who helped make Big Show 6 a success!

The Grand American Road Racing Series will be here in Birmingham at Barber Motorsports Park July 29-31. Go to BarberMotorsports.com to order your tickets. Be sure to enter coupon code/password carclub05 and choose Mustang-Magic City as your club to get free paddock access, a $10 value which allows you to get literally within inches of the cars and crew. Magic City Mustangs gets $5 for each ticket sold when you choose us as your club. The car club with the most tickets sold gets to drive their cars around the world-reknown track during a parade lap on Sunday. Also, there is a car club corral in the Expo area where club members can park together to advertise the club. This is a high traffic area and a great place to watch the races.

We will have a Mustang club meeting at Barber Motorsports Park on Friday, July 29, at 5:30 pm. You'll be able to get up close and personal with the cars, drivers, crew members, and representatives from Ford Racing for a question and answer session. Tentatively, we'll be taking our members' photos as they stand on the winner's podium with actual Grand-Am Cup Mustang drivers in the second and third place spots and with a 2005 Mustang FR500C parked in front. This meeting will require a ticket for the Friday events and paddock access. Check the paragraph above for information on how to get those tickets. Go to http://www.grandamerican.com/CONTENT/Docs/...lim%20Sched.pdf for the schedule of events for the weekend. The Mustangs compete in the Grand Am Cup GS class. A 2005 Mustang leads the team standings and Ford leads the manufacturer standings.
