Johnny,

A BBQ get together sounds great! Count on my family of 3 (possibly 4) being there. I'll check out the website and see how I can help.

Thanks in advance

Steve

I know it's far, but beleive me when I say... this event will be worth the drive.

we already have over 300 people who have RSVP's from other forums and from local peformance shops.

and over 100 cars entered in the car show.

so if the drive is whats stopping you, don't let it... and it is actually only about 7-8 hours away... not 11.

I thought it was Broward county? Isn't that near Dade? I am 11 hours from Miami. I am 6-7 hours out of Orlando, where exactly is it, maybe I am thinking of somewhere else.

Ft. Walton Beach is up in the panhandle a little further west of destin.

I takes me actually about 7 hours to get to Panama City... so I can't see it taking another 4 hours to get to Ft. Walton.

i'll find out though for you, if you're really intrested. PM me your zip code and i'll map it out for you. Would relaly like if you came.

I can't really make it anyways, don't have many vacation days at the moment.

Edit: How fast are you driving? I usually do 10 over the speed limit and it takes 6-7 hours to get to Orlando or Tampa.

it's all good. but remember the BBQ is early... if you're not going to the track until later you can always come on by.

Dave - you're coming down for this??... Cool man!

Johnny - yeah definitely will consider the early start - hey if things fall through completely for me that sunday I will definitely be there - maybe with another car or two in tow.

If its a last minute decision, will we have any probs getting in due to the RSVP??...
