Having been in Florida for almost a week, I have a question?

Is this LOVEBUG season already??????

Or is there some reason for the "early" visitation of these small black pains in the A$$, this time of year.

We have been in Tampa / St. Pete area since Sunday and have just arrived in Panama City heading to Pennsacola for the show this weekend.

Jessh, the nose of this '07 GT/CS looks like a Peterbuilt driving from Maine to Calif.

Gone to clean it off.

Hope that it's not this bad up here on the Gulf Coast.

I haven't seen them yet. I drive over Lake Jessup daily which is northeast of Orlando. What I have seen are the state troopers on 417. They drive SC'ed Mustangs and yesterday they were checking the speeds at the tollboth.

I do believe there are coming out. While we were at the GatorNationals last weekend I seen them flying around in certain areas.

I was at Panama City Beach last week. No love bugs. My father in law who lives there said that they get them only once a year, August, not twice a year like on the peninsula.

I've seen a few, too. Clean them off as quickly as possible - their blood must be made of acid.

If you avoid driving between 10am and 2pm, you won't get the full force of them. That's the busiest times that they're out.

I am amazed that we have to accomodate our lives for thsee bugs. I think last year near the end of the season along side the road MILLIONS of dead love bugs died. Like they all dropped dead.

i can't wait for that to happen again
