That's not Charleston, that's the north area and Scummerville. I mean, I'm not on the peninsula myself either, but James Island is certainly more "Charleston" in my book, although we have our own little subculture out here.

 

Jebus, I'm not a native so I don't care, on my address it says Charleston so I live in Charleston OK? I got here January 1st and will be here for at least three years (military). So the three of us should hook up sometime. Lemme know what you guys think and maybe we can work something out.

 

Oh, nevermind then. Were you a native, we could get into a spiritied and completely facetious argument about how our respective areas of Charleston are the best.

 

LoL, nope, first time even coming to the Carolinas. I used to live in San Antonio for the past eight years or so. As for the best areas of Charleston, no offense, but this town blows. There is absolutely NOTHING to do here whatsoever.

 

Oh yeah, and the Mustang Club here is pretty ridiculous as well (no offense if you're a member of course). I dunno, I just wish there was some kind of get together/cruise/etc. going on but this place is so very dead.

 

I'm not a member, not yet anyway. Kinda have to get one to be in one.

 

yeah i'll admit it too, the Columbia area isn't too magical either. I moved from Massachusetts 8 years ago however, and I enjoy it much better around here. We should try to get some mustang related events together, kinda quiet around here...

 

I agree dfhurleydude182. So you're in Columbia? That's where I got my GT LoL. This place called United Car Sales had in there and I got it in February. So tell me what you have in mind when you say get some events or something together......I'm all ears.

 

Just saw this thread - lol- I'm from Aiken - quoting from a billboard I saw on the way back from Cola "a top rated place for retirement"!! Or according to a tshirt I have "Aiken - it's not the end of the world, but you can see it from here"

Hi All. I live in Hanahan. I have a '70 Mustang and a 98 Mustang GT. I am the Receration Director for Southern Mustang and Ford. We are a new club, with over 100 members. We have a local show next weekend, Nov. 6th. If any of you can, we would love for you to show up.
Maybe you will find that there is more in Charleston to do thanyou think.
