I think my local club, Mustangs of Burlington is helping out at MW. Better than a bump

 

I'll be there for the show on Friday. My wife wants to check out Myrtle Beach so all the stars came together for a trip around SC. We start by visiting friends in Bluffton, visit MB for the show, then go to Rock Hill (just south of Charlotte) to visit our middle son and wife for the remainder of the weekend!

 

Awesome. Stop by the BadMustangsClub tent. We will have goodie bags, while they last on Friday.

It really sucks when the workload picks up right as Mustang week comes in. Im an hour away, and cant get there! Oh well, there's always next year, hopefully anyway.

 

Still planning on coming down Saturday. I will be coming from Wilmington, NC down US Highway 17. What's the schedule look like on Saturday? I see that there is a get together at Colonial Mall from 3:00pm -9:00pm.
Where does the "Cruise In" to the Mall begin and at what time?

Is there going to be a Badmustang tent at this location? Just looking for a location to meet up with some folks on Saturday.

 

The cruise-in is at the mall. All the different clubs and sponsors will have tents there. Try to look me up. I'll be one of who-knows-how-many vista blue GT's. LOL

 

Funny thing happened on the way to Myrtle Beach. Just east of Emporia VA, I heard a sound like debris rattling around in the engine compartment. Then by alternator light came on, then the radiator temp gauge shot way up, and I lost power steering. Pulled into a convienient store and opened the hood. Yep, I shreaded an engine belt. Had to get it towed to the local Ford dealer. Luckily I was only 2 miles away from Sadler Ford, and they were still open. Got in the MiniVan and continued down to Wilmington.
The idler pulley was the problem. It froze up and this wore out the belt. They are getting a new belt and pulley in next Monday.

Still planning on showing up to Colonial Mall but AFBLUE (the car) won't be with me. First mechanical problem I've had with the car in 70K miles. I guess she was feeling shy.

 

It was really great meeting you Mark!!! I hope you had a safe trip back and that the AFBLUE is fixed shortly. I made a ton of pics that I'm getting loaded now. I'll post a link when there up.

Great to meet you too! I also met Marcello of Silver Horse racing, and saw Jay of JLT. I just missed Doug from Bamachips, I saw him getting ready to enter Colonial Mall as I was existing.

Should hear about my car tomorrow. I'll also post some pix in here.

 

Dang Mark, that sucks... you should have let me know what was going on, I know where you could of gotten a loaner car for the weekend.

Update. Got AFBLUE home tonight. Runs great again, but my turn signals quit working on the way home. Probably a just a quick fuse replacement (i hope)
