It's that time of year again...the show season is coming to a close and the registrations for the first one of 2010 is available.

Last year over 1300 Mustangs and Fords attended. Everyyear this gets bigger and bigger, Friday has a Pony Trail sponsered by Mustang Monthly. Typically a great drive through horse country ending up on the Gulf coast for lunch, refreshments and Mustang talk.

Main Show Event: Saturday-Sunday, January 9-10, 2010
FREE show registration deadline January 1, 2010
Day of Show registration: 7am-10am sharp, no late arrivals
Silver Springs park hrs: 10am to 5pm. No early departures
No overnight RV camping in Silver Springs parking lot


This fills up quick, the 1000 free spots go before December 1st. Turned mine in the other day, the gentleman I spoke with said "About 200 were already in".

Already registered. One of the best shows around.

 

Got my confirmation number a few days ago, #680. That's alot of spots filled up already, since they started taking names first week of September. If you aren't in soon...

 

Perry and I will be there again.

I sent the registration 3-4 weeks ago and we are 904, and 905, just made it.

Its filling up quick as far as the first 1,000

Any info on the Friday Pony Drive? I'm coming down Thursday and would like to know where they will be meeting up.

 

The Pony Drive is Friday morning, meet up at the NPD building on southwest 38th. Usually leaves around 9 am, so meet up time starts about 8. Its a nice drive to Cedar Key through beautiful horse county around Ocala.
NPD will have the counter open for purchases and I think Rick is opening the museum both before and after the cruise. There is going to be a dyno onhand too.

Found out Saturday over 1900 registered for the show, hope they all make it cause it'll be huge...bring your camera.

You are in for a treat, this is always a great show and cruise the day before. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Doing the cruise friday morning, drop by and introduce yourself, always nice to meet people and put faces to names. driving a 05 GT silver w/ stangsofocala.com decals on the qtr windows.

 

We will have 17-20 Stangs caravaning to the show together. If anyone wants to join the caravan,
we will be leaving the Steak N Shake thats on 200 in Ocala ( by I75) at 7am ish.

Well, I just watched the Weather Channel forecast for next week and they are showing it snowing here in N. Alabama on Thursday, the day I am scheduled to leave. May have to leave to go down a day earlier since they gave that day off at work also.

What a fun caravan we will be having

 

Sorry guys but I have to skip this event again - I'm on 3rd shift forthe next 3 months and won't be fully adapted to the reversed sleep schedule by the end of this week. The drive up to Ocala would be OK, but the drive home (which would occur during the day when I'll be asleep) could be dangerous Have fun!

 

Looks like I'm gonna have to skip this since the only day I am not working is Sun. So I'll miss the morning cruise and the bulk of it on Sat.

 

I just called the Steak N Shake on Hwy 200 in Ocala and told them to expect a lot of crazy people with Mustangs
at around 6:15am-6:30am ish

I figured it would be a good idea to give them some warning this time
