Windveil Blue 05 Mustang GT
Windveil Blue 05 Mustang GT
Check this out---1:18 scale 2005 Mustang GT in Windveil Blue is now available from AutoArt through Speednation.com

Mine arrived yesterday, and it looks great. They improved the exhaust tips (angled them like the real ones), replaced the fan blades with the 2005 upgrade wheels (my real 05 has the bullits), but have a plain (i.e. no pony) plenum valve cover under the hood.

I haven't heard about a black one coming out, but they will likely be producing some more---these have been fast sellers in every color.
They produced (I believe) only 3,000 Redfire and 3,00 Legend Lime, but they are making 6,000 Windveil Blue due to anticipated demand.
You can email Jim at Speednation@gmail.com and ask him to alert you if a black one is produced. That's how I learned about the WB, he kept my email from back in March, and replie to it the other day to let me know the WB was on the way.

The first one produced was Redfire, but those sold out very quickly. I haven't seen or heard about a Torch Red scale model being produced.
Check with the guys at Speednation.com; they are very helpful, easy to work with and really do follow up, even months later, to keep you informed.

I was in at my dealear here and the same as the TMS die casts they also are getting a couple colors, so I asked each color has a limited amount that will be produced , so my guess is differnt companys or you or I can get a cerain color and sell, no fun for me I just like to buy what I want. If I get who has what color where I'll post a note ED

$77?
Wow, that is a lot. I thought AutoArt stuff was ~$50.

And the detail on these models is quite impressive.

You can't tell me they won't do a black one......
You can always paint one yourself.
Diecast cars like that are very easy to take apart.
If you don't trust your own paint skills, take it apart, sand it down, and take the body parts to a body shop.
Or find a friend who builds model cars. Maybe they'll do it as a favor.
Belive me it's not that hard.
