I saw this pic here on forum and I'm looking for same or similar types of shelves for my collection. Anyone have any idea where I could get something like this? I don't think regular furniture stores sells them.

Hey Red Star, the top picture, the cases look VERY similar to Billy Book cases, from Ikea. They sell these book cases, and you can buy doors for them too. The bottom shot, they look like the glass cases from a jewelry store. To find one of these, you would have to keep your eye open for a store that is going out of business. It's funny when you open a thread and see your collection!!
The top pic is my buddy's Ikea Billy cases. He just drilled holes to add more shelves and added halogen lighting. He said to be careful with the distance between the lighting and the 1st set of cars because those lights throw off alot of heat.
The 2nd pic is mine. It's a 4'x4' glass display case i got from Service Merchandise when they went out of business. Look for stores going out of business...they'll sell everything including the store display cases.
This pic is a custom 6'x6' display case i built into the wall of my "diecast/computer" room. It consists of 4 sliding glass doors (that i got from a floor display case at Service Merchandise) and i added florescent lighting. It was cheap and easy to build.
