Good stuff Chuck!!

What type of paint is used on your hood? It looks like the paint used on the Mach 1 spoiler . . .kind of a semi/flat with clear added into the paint and waxable.

Nope The paint is a true semi-flat black with NO sealer. Has a matt type texture to finish.
Can't wax it or even use a duster on it. :bang:

Saleen recommended spot cleaning it with window cleaner and use carwash soap/sponge for major work.
Because I really drive it, it has some bug smash marks on the leading edge.
Someday when I get it repainted, I'll have it clear coated.

Interesting . . . I'm having my hood painted this spring (black), and am using the spoiler paint on the Mach 1 . . . maybe that would be an option for you in the future.

Thanks for the information.
