The new Shelby Coll. releases?
Hi all, just wondering if anyone had heard about the new 1/18 Shelbys (GT500KR and SS)?
Last I heard was that they were to be released in Jan/Feb. Sooo...3 months later I'm just starting to wonder about em

I've learned over the many years of collecting 1:18 scale diecasts, that the release dates are totally an estimate. So far, from what I heard, these should be hitting the ebay sellers sometime in the next 2 months or so. The 2008 Shelby-GT in Blue just came out, and is pretty good looking, so the cars are coming. Next should be the S-GT vert in blue, and then the KR and SS.

I changed the wheels and tires on my Shelby Collectibles GT500s. The one gripe i had with them was the tires looked too small and skinny. Now, I love em!

Just an update, I have seen a bunch of different 1/18 scale KRs and SuperSnakes around! Looks like you can get em!
I'm about to order a silver/blue stripes KR and Red w/black stripes SuperSnake...and possibly the new Kitt
will have pics in a few weeks, hopefully!

Super Snake received!
Hey guys I got my Super Snake shelby in the mail today. Other than the fact that the front wheels look like they need a serious alignment and the ball joints are falling off....looks awesome!

Still waiting for KITT and the silver/blue stripes KR. They will look real sharp.
I think Shelby Collectibles has really come back from their first GT500 model. The latest ones are extremely detailed and nicely finished. For 40$ I don't see how you can go wrong.
